Stop Collaborate and Listen

My favorite store in the whole wide world has to be Target. In fact, when I lived in Seattle my friend Garrett and I trekked to Target from Capitol Hill, which meant taking three buses, which took FOREVER, in the rain, just to go to Target. Let me tell you it was worth it! My favorite part about Target is their regular collaborations with high end designers like Proenza Schouler, Jean Paul Gaultier, Liberty for London and more!

True, half of the items don’t translate well due to cheaper fabrics and poor quality but I feel like in almost every collaboration I can find at least one gem! Like those Zac Posen bathing suits I got for my Mexico trip!

Dolce Vita

I can’t wait to see what they do next. I’m very excited for the Mulberry collaboration this Fall.

Trends I like: Inner-wear as Outer-wear

I’ve been obsessed with sheer fabrics ever since I first noticed them on the runways. I especially love sheer, lingerie inspired clothing. I love the delicacy and femininity of it. Not to mention intimates can be so chic, easy to wear and so magnificently light weight! The dainty details instantly dress up any outfit. So I am really happy that wearing lingerie as outerwear is a new trend. Recently, I bought a “intimate” chiffon, robe style top with bell sleeves from Liberty of London for Target. To make it wearable during the way without looking trashy I wear it over a white tank-top. It’s so fun, and uber feminine. And let me tell you, I’ve been getting tons of compliments. (While I was in Georgia last week I even inspired a few other people to get the same top!) Little does everyone know it’s supposed to be a pajama top! (Shhh… It’ll be our little secret).

Yes, I cut my head off on purpose as I am wearing a ridiculously embarrassing hat.

I also really like more obvious lingerie but I’m not sure I have the confidence or the occasion to pull off these looks.

Me voy a México mañana

Me voy a México mañana.

For the record, packing is one of my favorite things to do. I’m not that good at it, but I really enjoy it.
1. Hat
2. Sunnies/Glasses
3. Sunscreen!!!!!
4. Tums – for the sensitive tummy
5. Reading material (book not pictured)
6. Airplane pillow and mask
7. Little digital camera
8. Passport – muy importante
Also for the record, I never said I was a light packer.

I cannot wait to wear my new Zac Posen for Target bathing suits!

Adios amigos!
